Many of you have probably been really curious about the recovery process following my chemical peel and are wanting updates — Here’s the update…
I THINK I MAY LIVE…
Seriously, everyone has been extremely supportive as I go through this recovery process.
A few days ago someone said to me, “I understand how you feel—“When your face Ain’t Right, You Ain’t Right!” This is a very true statement…I wasn’t right!
This face has CONSUMED me and has had me in a complete funk… … But I decided to take charge of the situation! I would prepare myself for the “glow up!” That being said, I did a mini beauty make-over!
I have hair glue, I have bundles, I have protective gel, and I have wig caps. I researched on YouTube… “How to make Quick Weaves.” I followed the instructions and made my own wig. I also did my lashes… (I learned how to “DIY” those years and years ago). The finished product is actually really nice. Yeah you can see my wig cap underneath my wig and yeah my lashes are thin as air but that’s not the point—(I will fix those things later)— The point is I am preparing myself for my new, delicious, yum- yum face. Lol!
Lesson I Learned…
“It’s better to look ahead and prepare, than to look back and regret.”-Jackie Joyner-Kersee
(I included some post- peel pictures. Please don’t hold the filter usage against me, naturally I was trying to find my best light. J More pics to come later!)
Thanks for the supporting “Chanels and Cocktails”… Until next time…!!!!
